High School in Spain

Semester or Year abroad programs allow students from 14 to 17 years old to attend a public or private high school with Spaniards their age. This is an authentic cultural and linguistic environment to increase their understanding of Spanish culture, society and style
of life, while teenagers becaming to fluent speak Spanish language.
This is a fun way to learn and highly formative experience that will enriched
the student.
The teenager will follow the some guidelines and duties as the rest of the class mates and will be treat as an equal peer.
The option of living with a Spanish family is a very good way to profound understanding of Spanish culture and traditions.
But you have the option of living in a boarding school . It will also give them the opportunity to form strong friendships with others at their school in an atmosphere of shared experiences.

Your Home Life

The host family is seen as being responsible for the students' welfare and we insists on their role as "parents". Sometimes families may host more than one student, but they will always be a student from a different country and of a different first language so that Spanish is spoken in the home.
All Spanish host families are sourced, vetted and screened through our Spanish organisation based in Jerez.
Host families are carefully selected by the coordinator after an interview and a home visit according to very definite selection criteria: availability, receptiveness, good sense of welcoming, good accommodation conditions.
Placements are always in safe residential areas, which guarantee good conditions. Placements are mostly made in Jerez de la Frontera.
Host families have a genuine interest in learning about the countries of their students and exposing themselves and their children to another culture.
The host families will provide: a genuinely caring environment, clean and comfortable surroundings, full board, and a shared or single room.
The families are visited and counselled through regular contact with the coordinator during your child's stay.
Your child is truly considered a member of the family, equal in rights and duties, and they share the day-to-day life, including leisure and outings; in return they are asked to comply with family rules.
